Well, I survived COVID and the Trump presidency, plus I’m transitioning to a woman, so I’m a better man than all those dead racist Neanderthals.

According to Hindu tradition, we have had just over 5,000 years of Kali-yuga and there remains another 427,000 years of this cycle. This is the iron age, or the age of quarrel and hypocrisy, war, and strife.

Buckle up.

Most people in that time period most definitely did not own slaves.

The Greatest Generation was the first generation in history that did not expect to lose children in infancy or childhood.

Before the advent of antibiotics almost all families lost children to childhood diseases, flu, and infections.

And each ancestor was the result of one sperm winning a swimming contest with 200,000,000 other sperm.

Think of all the couples that had to "get together" to get us here. The milk maid and the farmer's son.

My grandpa is youngest of 11. Glad my great grandparents hadn’t stopped at a nice even 10.

That's assuming that there was no intermarriage among small villages, etc.

Incredibly common to marry a distant cousin back in the day. More so if you were a royal.
