See them daily here in St. Charles Parish. They have two nest on the river batture near my house and they fly over the house regularly. Had one fly over just above my oak tree when I was out with my lab after the snow, beautiful birds.

Yes, multiple times in some areas.

Me and some buds had a duck lease at one time and saw a bald eagle from the blind. Later, at a convenience store I happened to see a game warden and told him ablution the sighting. Turns out to be the worst idea ever!

After that, I came to the realization that if you see an eagle, a bear, or anything like that, just enjoy the sighting, but don’t mess with it and don’t tell a single person about it!

Been to Alaska 2x so yes I've seen many of them. Seen them in Canada as well. They are like pigeons in parts of Alaska. See them everywhere.

Had one fly side by side with my truck for a couple of miles a few winters ago on I-90 near Missoula MT. That was freakin' cool.

Saw this one the other day while walking w the dog on the lower 40.

Best one was when I was working downtown in my office with the windows overlooking the James River and saw a bald eagle flying up from the banks. At first it looked like he had a piece of wire in it's mouth...as it got closer I noticed the wire was moving around - a snake.

I lived in Alaska as a teen, so I saw them all the time. Even had a classmate who had their family dog taken by one. As for where I’ve lived most of my life, Alabama, they started releasing bald eagles around Guntersville Lake about 30 years ago or so. Theres a sizable population now. I live about 40 min from there and even occasionally see them close to my house. Though it’s not often. And the bald eagles in Alabama are nowhere near as big as the ones in Alaska.

More times than I can count. I would see them daily working in St. Mary parish, Blind River and Atchafalaya Basin.

I see them quite a bit near my house.

I would also see them at my grandma's in Pierre Part, stalking the bayou.

Many, in Alaska. They aren't birds of prey. They're birds of eat dead stuff they find on the ground.

Now, the golden eagle? That there is a bird of prey.

Bald eagles have different markings dependent on their age and other factors. The white head is constant, but the tail and wing tips are not.

Not exactly correct. Juvenile bald eagles do not have a white head. They don't get the full white plumage for several years.

We visited a salmon hatchery in Juneau a couple years ago. Bald eagles are EVERYWHERE in Juneau. Watching them catch fish in the Gastineau Channel was a nice way to pass some time.

You will tend to see them near rivers and lakes. They are pretty good fish catchers…

I see 5 circling up in the sky right now.

I’m not very far away from several nests. I’m just a few blocks away from the Columbia River currently.

I never tire of seeing them.

kayaked the current river in Missouri a few years back... it was late fall. Some hillbilly a-hole had shot a deer and just cut the backstrap out, leaving it in the riverbend.

A MF BALD EAGLE was perched on top of this thing, gnawing meat off its bones.

I was within about 30ft of the scene. So cool.
