One occasionally visits the LSU lakes. I think it’s nest is by Farr park south of campus.

Yes I have 5-6 of them hanging around the farm

They used to have a nest between LaPlace and Kenner in the spillway.

Many times. They get pissy and screechy when you get close to their nest.

See them at Mosquito lake all the time.
My buddy that goes duck hunting over there told me that when he shoots a duck, the eagles will take it before the dogs can get to it.
I took a picture of one on my street a few years ago eating some roadkill.

I know some people in Pierre Part along the bayou that comes off of lake Verret and Eagles have a nest in the trees near the bayou that less than a mile from their house and you can sit in their front yard and watch the eagles throughout the day.
They also have eagles that have nest along the Mississippi River. My mom lives on the river road and there is an area they call "the point" that people hunt on, that's pretty much an island (depending on how high the river is) and... not often, but maybe every few years you can see an eagle flying around from her house.

I mean, I saw one at the Eagles game today, so I think it is legal to keep them in captivity.

Vacation to Wisconsin about 6 years ago.
Floated down a river near Winter, WI not sure of the name exactly. But about 6 or so Bald Eagles were following us the entire 4 hour trip, doing their own fishing. Easily one of the top wildlife experiences…incredible.

I saw them all the time on cross lake and Toledo bend. And saw one in Red River parish a couple of months ago. No matter how many times I've seen them, still in awe. Such a beautiful and majestic creature.

Have a place on Lake Bistineau and they are all over the lake. Plenty of fish to eat and 8 or 10 years ago the rednecks stopped shooting them.

Almost every day. They are beautiful. I had them eating catfish carcasse’s like seagulls behind my house one year.

Yep. When was stationed at Pax, there was a pair that had a nest in one of the trees on the golf course. Saw them every time I played.

I've also seen them hunt coots on the Colorado River in NV. They swoop in and grab them just as the start trying to take off. Pow!
