Ha yeah that me a few weeks ago before I started a road trip ac quit blowing cold dropped it off at dealership they had no idea what it was whether blower doors or actuators etc.
Finally picked it up and swapped the fuses/relays and it’s blowing cold again

A compressor was back ordered and was out for just a few miserable days with vinyl seats in a car, whew.

1973 Super Beetle was my ride in college and a few year beyond. That was in the early 80’s. Plus I lived in Pentagon dorm with no AC, and in the summer, I lived in a screened-in cabin in the woods near Ponchatoula.

I had a blazer with no AC I drove every day for 5 or 6 years.
You get used to it. The heat just doesn't bother me anymore. Even now, a lot of times I don't even bother turning on the AC. I just roll down the windows. I get cold in a lot of the stores in the summer time

Come on. Tell us about it. It seems like it’s always a. Honda accord.
Sir I do not think you are economically qualified to post on the OT.

72 VW Squareback. No air
67 Renault no air
78 Fiat 131 no air
But I weighed 45 pounds less back then.

I currently do. Not only does it not have ac, it is also black with a black interior. Days are brutal getting off at 4 and sitting in traffic. It does however get 31mpg

My post involved Bogalusa, that's the least of my worries. Worry about the Fritos, brah.

My mom has a VW something in the 70s that didn’t have AC and had black interior. I actually got serious burns on my legs from the damn thing. The last straw was I was coloring on the way to Franklinton one summer day with those big giant crayons but my mom forget to pick them all up as it was late at night when we got there. By 10:30 the next am they were all melted into the seats. They burned the shite out of me when I tried to pick them up and my grandpa lost it and made my mom take to local car dealerships to trade in for something with an AC.

Appears to be a water pump issue.
