Yeah bad erstlers and I was sick as F. Now 99% of the time I eat oysters , they are cooked some kind of way, stew, fried, or grilled but I gotta heat them first unless I know where they came from

The Burger King on US 171 in Lake Charles (across from the old Richmond Suites Hotel) nearly killed me. The same goes for the Waffle House in Pascagoula, MS.

Last night of vacation in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Got burgers delivered to the airbnb. Me and my girlfriend eat them. Wistfully reminiscing on a nice vacation. The next morning, we both feel like we're being violently stabbed in our abdomens. The toilet is literally 6 feet from the bed. We take turns just violently shitting right in front of each other. It was awful.

It likely wasn’t food poisoning but some filthy mother fricker who had norovirus (stomach flu) touched your food with shite or barf on their hands.

Twice

First time was undercooked meatloaf and the second time was a Christmas Honeybaked Ham that was not properly chilled. Suffice to say that Christmas sucked.

I wouldn't wish food poisoning on anyone. It sucks.

Yes and ended up in the hospital from fricking rice that was left out

Rice is incredibly dangerous if left out. Pretty sure my family got rice from Rice and Roux that they left out too long on a pick up order. Had my girls all screwed up. I don’t do take out rice anymore, and, though try not to cook too much, I throw out what is left regardless. Not worth risking getting that sick over pennies worth of rice.

I thought my worst was bad; a lot you fellas have some truly awful ones. My worst was the most violent regurgitation I have ever had. Felt like I could have put a hole in the commode from 10 feet away. I think it was take catered fried chicken at an office potluck. The next best part was after thinking it was all out I was woken up to a burning liquid sensation at the back of my throat and around my back teeth. Proceeded to wretch out a bunch of stomach acid. Guessing even it couldn’t handle the virulent bastage that had taken up abode in my stomach. Nothing out the other end during it all, fortunately. Stuck with hydration for the next 2 days and then slowly brought in bland foods.

Never have. I eat about a pound and half of raw ground chuck every week. For thirty years. I eat raw oysters. I eat raw eggs every week. Left overs left out overnight, no sweat. I don’t know why the frick ya’ll get sick all the time.

the worst part of it is when you're sitting on the toilet and have to lean over to puke into the bathtub because you can't get off of the toilet.

That was my experience as well. Finish puking so I could quickly diarrhea, or worse, the other order. Brutal.

I had a buddy who got Food Poisoning once. I asked him how bad it was. He said, the first day he was afraid he was going to die...the second day he was afraid he was going to live.

Yes! Vividly remember not having strength to stand up in the shower after night of misery.

Hang in there.
