Evacuated in Germany 350 people from a swinger club in full orgy

Firefighters in the town of Hattingen, between Dortmund and Duesseldorf in North Rhine-Westphalia, told the dpa news agency Sunday that about 300 swingers were brought to safety after the alarm went off late Saturday night.
The swingers, many clad just in bathrobes as they left the club, were taken on buses to be examined by first aid workers. About ten complained of feeling unwell and needed treatment.

Club staff called for emergencies after the first fainting. Firefighters accessed the club, where a party of high sexual content with respiratory protection was being held and, after a quick check, detected an excess of carbon monoxide in the air, probably caused by lack of ventilation. After requesting reinforcements, the fire chief ordered the evacuation of the three-story building in which there were about 350 people celebrating the orgy.
In thongs and underpants, at best, the public took to the streets. Those affected had to wait for a tense twenty minutes until a total of 160 firefighters and policemen distributed towels so that they could minimally cover themselves while organizing their transportation to a nearby hospital and could undergo routine control. The town hall of Hattingen, a city of 50,000 inhabitants in the Ruhr Basin, warned of the case, signed several urban buses to facilitate transport. «It has been very strong, I did not give credit. I had never seen anything like it. But it is my job, so I helped them get on one by one as I could to the bus, we started, and I left them at their destination, ”said one of the drivers to the local radio.
Hattingen police have later verified that the carbon monoxide alarm had been triggered, but that due to the noise and volume of the music, no one had heard it. Altogether eleven people have received medical treatment, several of them not because of respiratory poisoning but because they were injured during the run-over evacuation.
“It is necessary to check the capacity of the premises, we suspect that it had capacity for about 160 people and after counting them, already in the street, we discovered that there were about 350” said the spokesman of the firefighters Jens HerkstrOter, who recognizes that it is the mission more “Curious” that has touched him so far. “What we can certify is that there was no explosion or fire,” he said, implying that the evacuation was laborious because although they talked to the guests they took it as a joke and followed theirs. After the evacuation, the building was inspected by firefighters, the district chimney sweeper and the gas server staff, who confirmed that all measurements were negative.
Finally, the guests were allowed to return from the hospital to the building to collect their personal belongings. “The party did not continue,” the fire department said. “Many guests, despite the unfortunate situation, completely understood the work of the emergency services.”
Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colorless, odorless and tasteless gas. This makes it a particularly treacherous danger: if it flows, it can, unlike smoke, not see or smell it. That is why it is also called “silent killer.” Its poisoning causes a massive lack of oxygen in the body. The consequences include headaches, palpitations, nausea, apathy, shortness of breath and, in the worst case, death, depending on the concentration.

1. Nothing kills a boner like excess carbon monoxide
2. I’m always amazed when fat people attempt cartwheels or rope swings a hundred pounds heavier than their young self. Hands and arms aren’t strong enough to hold that load. ??

Something tells me carbon monoxide poisoning isn't the only health issue that arises from visiting this establishment.

I'm having a hard time figuring out why the carbon monoxide was such a threat. It says right there that the swingers were using respiratory protection. Sounds like a good party just got shut down.
