He went full retard once he became buddies with Kap.

I don't even associate him with LSU anymore. Some other school can claim his dumb arse.

LSU just spent $28 million to renovate a locker room that Reid says was already nicer than what he uses today in the NFL.

He should address that with whichever NFL team he plays for. LSU has to do this because not only is it nice for current players, it is important in recruiting. College teams can’t woo players by giving them big contracts, so they have to do it by providing them with things like fancy facilities.

Plus, wasn’t much of the money used donated money that was donated specifically for this purpose? If so, he should take it up with Tyrann Matthieu and any other donors.

His comment was about paying athletes not complaining about the lockerroom. Others (who don't trigger people) have made similar comments.

Well, you can’t pay players. So. We probably shouldn’t do that.

It's not like this was university money marked for education. It's was paid for by private donations.

exactly. It’s an investment nfl teams don’t make because they don’t need to.

Damn, that's a ton of money.

I can't stand him any more, but he's right. It is ridiculous to spend that much money on upgrading an already top tier locker room, but they did it and people will keep donating to TAF and LSU.

It's a recruiting tool in their eyes as much as anything else.

It is sad that they spent that much, but ah well.

Honey Badger continues to be far better than Reid.

Better college player, better pro player, better alumnus.

One of his points was if we can get people to donate millions for a locker room, why not millions to fix the library. Which is a fair question.

LSU donors furnished a 28 million dollar upgrade to their football facility that included the locker room, coaches offices, recruiting areas, training facilities, players lounge and a nutrition center.

So, Reid’s in favor of renovating the Middleton bathrooms to cater to their typical users?

That's obvious from reading the Rant. A lot of them give zero fricks about the academic side of the university and are not shy about saying so.
