If I’m paying Eric Reed $22 million to play football he’d be lucky to have a locker.

But if you made a private donation for that specific reason, what else is the money going to go for? You can't tell LSU I will donate $1m to upgrade the facility and then have them turn around and put it to something else. That would be fraudulent and would end the TAF's ability to raise money in the future.
