That’s for specific jobs with specific, known, and preventable dangers. There are plenty of jobs available that don’t require this, workers are free to leave the job anytime they want, the dangers are real and immediate and knowable by the employee, PPE doesn’t place any real burden on the employee, and most importantly, there can be no rational conscientious objection to PPE.
In other words, the conditions are substantively different, you simple minded POS.

I think it's up to everyone else to make their own decisions as well and I support whatever decision they make. It's not your job to "protect" me and it's not my job to "protect" you, so I don't care what anyone else does. And I'm completely against forcefully making people take a drug that has no known long term effects. The idea that you need to comply to get your "freedom" as if it's some sort of morsel you're rewarded as long as you're a good boy is a fricked up concept that I'm sad to see is taking hold in self righteous pricks such as yourself.

True. A shot is about the laziest way to prevent a bad reaction to covid. The better way would be to get healthy. But we can't shame fat people, so... here we are.

I think its funny how riled up yall get over it.
It's an FDA approved treatment. I don't trust the FDA completely, but there is, quite literally, no higher authority on what drugs are safe or unsafe.
If you want to scowl at FDA you're going to have a lot of problems that extend beyond medicine. If you say that the FDA approval means nothing, what body has the authority to issue anything without you raising your eyebrows. Question things, sure, but at some point you have to realize that these things are way above your scope of understanding. I'd argue many people in this thread who are against the vaccine don't even know how to properly parse out statistics and know what's relevant and what's irrelevant.
I don't think there should be a mandate, but this isn't going the way of complete government control like some people suggest.
As far as the military goes, I was in the Marines. I remember lining up with the other 300 marines in my company as we got jabbed to hell and high water with god knows what. I sure don't remember much griping. Not sure why this one would be different.

Vaccines "work" when they allow the immune system to learn to react appropriately to a virus THAT'S IN THE BODY! Vaccinated people get covid... vaccinated people are more likely to fight it off without symptoms. Viral load remains too low to cause issues. THAT is how a vaccine works. Spread is less likely. Sickness is less likely. But the virus still gets in the body. People are fricking retarded.
