I would have told them if I was about to be operated on I’d want the most qualified person performing the surgery, not someone who got into med school only bc of the color of their skin over a more qualified applicant. The admissions process SHOULD be colorblind.

Diversity is needed in a pitchers bullpen. Sometimes you need guys with 100 mph fastball and sometimes you need guys with some nasty breaking balls that can go the full 9. Rarely if ever will you have both types in one player.

Some university will jump at the chance to take students like her. They will end up with the best students and the “best” universities will begin to decline.
