Sounds like they’ll flatten everything on the block.

“An Austin-based real estate development and management firm is proposing a new student housing complex along Burbank Drive near Milford Avenue.
LV Collective has submitted plans for a 338-unit development on a 4.56-acre site, according to an application filed with the East Baton Rouge Parish Planning Commission. The proposal is scheduled for review at the commission’s June meeting.
The project would span 16 lots along Burbank Drive and Gourrier Avenue, between West Parker Boulevard and Milford Avenue, and require the demolition of all existing structures within the proposed planned unit development, according to plan documents filed with the commission. The boundary for the development site includes the Embassy Courts apartment complex. Sanovan Properties LLC is listed as the property owner on the application. State business filings list Chris Nguyen as the company’s registered agent and manager.
In addition to residential units, the development would include about 2,800 square feet of commercial space and 1.31 acres of open space.”

Do kids just pay for all these places with loans?
I think the only new place when I was at LSU was the one by Jack in the Box

I demand a portion of the units be classified as Section 8 housing.

El Cid will ride again
Legend has it that, after El Cid’s death, his wife Jimena ordered his corpse to be fitted with his armour, set atop his horse Babieca and sent into battle against the Almoravid Moorish army.

LSU needs to Eminent Domain a bunch of that stuff for parking and buildings. There is too much student housing.

There are kids that work for my husband that are barely making it - just like us when we were their age - among tuition, gas, car stuff, going out and rent

Every time I visit BR, there’s a new massive college apartment complex. They just keep on building one after another
