Double check the Will and Powers of Attorney, and then basically do whatever I can physically do, whatever I want to do. Probably go fishing, a lot.

Is this a gradual decline for six months or a suddenly drop dead in six months situation?

That will greatly determine my decision making.

Just to add to this, I make sure my brother also has an "open in case of emergency" copy of my files, accounts, passwords, etc. and knows which life insurance policies are where. My wife might not want to or be able to deal with certain things when I pass.

Do a will. That's 98% of everything. Do your family a favor and make a will. Even if you use a cheap template off a website. Do it.

Being that i'm in my mid 30's i'd buy my daughter a birthday card every year up to 18 and make sure i'd have flowers delivered to her every birthday.

How does one "get their affairs" in order?
First, clear all browser history. Dont want to tarnish my legacy.

Travel a touch. Make sure wife has access to all stuff...probably sell off my truck and boat to not give the wife and kids the guilt of doing it later. Write letters to my kids with some advice and things I would like them to know. Make sure they know that I expect them to remember me, but to go have a hell of a life and live it up.

I am not being a smartass, but if you have everything shared with your wife..wont it all go to her like I would leave it anyway?

Make sure the will is in place and 100% good. Make sure the wife and kids know where to collect make sure they know I loved them and will always be watching over them!

Then the blow and hookers until the ripper catches up with me with my boots on!

Yup. I have some other “files” that need to be deleted. Or I could just destroy the hard drive.

I'd go skydiving...
I'd go Rocky Mountain climbing..
I'd try to go 2.7 seconds on a bull named Fumanchu...

Already have a will with a trust set up, so hard part is done. Travel with my wife/youngsters, take my dog everywhere.

Probably have to give my wife the combo to the safe and a lot of passwords although she is a bit electronically challenged. Guess I'd give the info to my youngsters as they would likely be able to think more clearly.
