I doubt any boomers are responsible for boosting social media presence. But it may have been boomers who approved the contracts to hire social media consultant firms - run by millennials and zoomers - who con the boomers into thinking they've successfully boosted their social media presence by pumping them up with fake followers, making practically no impact on the number of human eyes that will see the clien'ts content.
And that gets to the heart of the issue w/ Twitter's value being overstated if the audience impact is being intentionally fudged. That's fraud, dawg.
