You think Desantis won't get the Trump treatment if he's the nominee? He's got plenty of sound clips that can be spun in a very negative fashion if/when the MSM decides to start doing it.

The media will try..of course. They do it for every conservative candidate. I dont buy into the media and still don't like Trump's personality. Not because of what the media says but because of what he says. Clinton lost for the same reason. A lot of folks thought Trump would change his attitude after he was elected. He did not and it cost him the election. Nothing suggest he has learned a lesson.

Just some actual data from out camp on DEMCO:

Our July bill just happened to have the exact same usage per day as last August's bill. It represented a 20% increase per day for the same power. Top is last year, bottom is this year.

This is last month's (June) bill, the current bill was 12% higher normalized for the same kWh per day

So per kWh the increase to this month from last year was 20% and last month to this month was 12%. The same sort of calculation for our home in SC on Duke was up 15% from the year prior and 9% over last month. From what I have gathered Entergy is one of the ones that has gone way up.

Can you explain your rationale for this?

I am sure you can explain the voting results in Oklahoma County from the 2016 to the 2020 Presidential election.

Understanding and pointing out voter perception, whether I agree with it or not doesnt make me an emotional twat waffle. Its basic political strategy. I dont see how you cant understand that point. Yes I thought some of those mean tweets were at times attacks on good men like Thomas Massie that simply had disagreements with him on policy. But besides his childish nature, I agreed with most of Trump's policy decisions and it did not effect my vote. That was obviously not the case for many Americans.

If you believe that people voted emotionally against Trump based on Trumps attitude vs his policies then what do you think has will change in the next election ? You can hope Biden's immense failures will overcome their personal dislike for Trump but you cant count on Trump changing his tune. He cannot help but act out emotionally to attacks or even policy dissent. He is in your own words an emotional twat waffle.

So I can spill my blood for my country but I should not be allowed to vote?

Scruffy makes zero distinctions.

The military is a voluntary force.

If people knew they would lose their ability to vote during their tenure, it may sway their decision to join.

But, ISO, if an individual receives their livelihood through the forceful collection of taxes, they should not be permitted to vote due to their clear and obvious conflict of interest.

Yes, there are of course conflicts of interest in every situation, but this one is blatant and direct.

Sorry.

You will regain the ability to vote either at the end of your period in the military or at retirement.

Now, understand, with Scruffy’s current line of work and the fact that he will generally have to work for public institutions, Scruffy would also lose his ability to vote.
