We have the third highest population on the planet. People die trying to get here. We are the greatest country in the world. You think India and China are safer places to live?

I got news for alot of you folks who think he did this because he's mentally ill.
You're wrong.
He may have mental illness, he may not. I don't know but that's not why he did it. He did it because he has anti-social personality disorder and that's not mental illness. If it were, then our prisons would be psychiatric hospitals.
The fact of the matter is the mentally ill commit violent crime (of any kind) at the same rate as the general population. No more, no less. They are however about 4 to 5 times more likely to use that gun on themselves than you are.
If you want to take guns out of the hands of the mentally ill, be my guest but it won't solve shite like this. Not by a far sight.
Crazy people can be anti-social too. He might be crazy but like i said. That's not why he did what he did. He did what he did because he's void of conscience and empathy.

Ok. I get it. You’re ok with 62, or 20 or whatever number getting slaughtered now and then so it doesn’t affect your rights. Thanks for clarifying.
You’re in your feelings.

Can we at least put more emphasis and throw more resources and research towards mental health in this country?
Absolutely. The stigma of getting help for mental issues is slowly going away and that’s wonderful. People should seek help for their issues.
Punishing people for seeking help isn’t how you get people to seek that help though.

That’s one form of gun control without taking away anyone’s guns and doing nothing with the background checks.
Don’t have kids young. Stay in school. Work a full time job. Those things will help reduce poverty which will do wonders for violent crime.
Far more than any gun control laws. But that’s takes responsibility and work. People would rather take the easy route and ban an inanimate object.

Let’s get to the root of the problem, it’s the whackos.
You never know who it will be. That’s why I would rather allow people to defend themselves over stripping their right to defend themselves.

I haven't and i'd have to think real hard if i've ever known anyone who has.

Yeah, if you discount their own governments killing them

Trump is Americas last chance to right the ship. He is trying his hardest to save America but the globalist deep state keeps getting in the way.

I’ve been robbed at gunpoint and at knifepoint.
I’d rather not be an unarmed victim a third time.

He killed 20 people and shot another 25 or so because he thinks immigrants are a threat to him and the United States.

Not surprisingly the point went right over your head. Law abiding citizens exercising their right to own guns isn’t the issue.
quote:Exactly. We have too much freedom. Need to cure that.

I know some people who know a guy who was murdered in Houma last night. He potentially could’ve used one

How do you apply this? We have the resources and knowledge necessary to combat it. People have to want to get help. You can have a mental illness and the people closest to you don’t realize anything is wrong.

so therefore no one should have the ability to defend themselves. Is that what you mean?
you wont answer though
