I get the vehicle argument, and there used to be more people killed by cars, and now more are killed by guns.

Last year 36.8K were killed in motor vehicle accidents while there were 14.6K gun violence related deaths. I guess you’re including suicide gun deaths which would push that number to 40K.

there are still levels of assault that arent felonious.

The vast, vast majority of the killings in this country are some thug shooting another one.

That's great for home defense. Could you just wait a second while I open my safe?

People like you are idiots. Just because someone has a certain view on something, doesn't mean they are on one side of the political spectrum or the other.

Anyone who follows the whole platform of a political party has a cult mentality.

As for as getting upset, don't share the shite you do if you are going to get upset when people bring it back up. Moron.

What mental disorders should be on the “no gun” list?

Mental disorder is a spectrum and affects everyone differently. Just because someone is depressed doesn’t mean they’re going to shoot up a mall. Same with schizophrenia, etc. (note, since apparently VA is unable to comprehend this question, just because one person has X mental disorder, it doesn’t mean it’s as bad as another person with X mental disorder. Some schizophrenics are on meds and act completely normal. Others are bat shite. Some depressed people want to take it out on others. Some don’t)

who decides if the person is well enough?

What is the route to appeal?

How long does said ban last?

Would punishing people for seeking treatment for mental health issues have a detrimental effect on having people seek out help?

Will there be an inherent bias amongst those who have the power to place a ban?

Gun control is too fundamentally contrary to any kind of conservative, republican (small "R"), or libertarian philosophy to coexist with the rest of it.

Not every policy idea can be selected cateferia-style. There are absolutes.

Gun owners can pay more of a tax too. I'm sure everyone would be ok with paying a few more dollars a year if it saves lives.

And how exactly would it save any lives?

Correct, they are called misdemeanors because they are not as serious as a felon.

So, the poor folks who actually need guns in bad neighborhoods are just shite out of luck?

Schizophrenia for one. Happy? I answered your question. I’m sure there are others that should qualify. I’ll confess to not knowing the entire list.

Anybody that has ever been upset about something could be classified as depressed which is a mental health issue. You don’t want politicians deciding who is or isn’t mentally stable.

pathetic debate skills are pathetic. And to think, you have the gall to call out someone else for their lack of debate skills.

So.... you think all schizophrenics are alike?
