Bacon and eggs is a great high protein, low carb breakfast.
they feed the U2/Sr-71 guys either this or steak and eggs before a mission because they're in the seat for so long, high protein, low residue

Farm fresh eggs don't need to be refrigerated.
Before breakfast became a ting, people just ate leftovers from the day before or whatever they had on hand.
Oscar Meyer did the same thing in Chicago, marketing bacon for breakfast.

Only because they were refrigerated either in transport or at the store.
I have 3 dozen chickens in my farm and I never refrigerate the eggs they lay. Taste just fine.

Y'all really don't know much about eggs
The reason commercial eggs need to be refridgerated is because the cleaning process that is required of them washes off the cuticle membrane on them. Eggs that don't undergo that process before packaging/selling don't need to be refridgerated because that membrane protects against the bacteria.

What do they feed you before you’re the longest driver of a golf ball in the world for your age as you claimed?

Because most women are like squirrels......easily distracted by shiny, flashy objects. They're worse than squirrels, though, because they talk.

My 18-pk from Hill Country Fare begs to differ
That is because they wash the membrane off of them. Farm eggs, if left unwashed until you eat them will last weeks on the counter.

Everything is a construct.

Yeah, but bacon is meat candy.

Why would anyone ever need the power of suggestion to get them to eat more bacon?

Civil war soldiers ate bacon for breakfast in the 1860s

The Italian Football League held their Super Bowl in Toledo Ohio last month (yes for real) and the players from Italy were asked what they like most about being in the US for a week. Almost all of them said the breakfasts, they don’t get that back home.

Thank you for making my point, without home regfrigeration most folks without chicken couldn't keep eggs at home unless they had a local source. Commercially available eggs weren't a thing until refrigeration became a thing.
