The guy was literarily headed to a pre-trial hearing in his case.

John Fuller is a pretty high powered criminal defense attorney.

Bond of 375K, you can say that's low for double murder case but still that's 45K-50K of cost to the defendant / family. Plus paying for Fuller. Fuller isn't some public defender.

From what I've heard... the self-defense claim had some merit. It wasn't strong enough to dismiss the charges, but it had merit.

I wonder if they go at night and place a tile or tracking device under the car and wait to see when they are traveling on interstate or highway then chase em down??

PLOT TWIST

The dead guys defense attorney was in the press this morning claiming that his client didn't actually kill the two high school kids and only confessed because he was scared of the guy who really killed them. Now the family will claim that he was killed before he could show up in court and tell the truth.

Defense attorney is actually quoted as saying... wait for it... "He was a good boy." LoL.

Best part is that this defense attorney is now setting up a defense for the family member that actually murdered this killer. That person, when arrested, can point to the defense attorney's story and say "He even says the real murderer is still out there."

Probably something no more complicated than a neighbor giving the shooter a license plate number and telling him when they'd be heading to court.

Assuming that were true, couldn’t he still be charged with murder since the deaths happened in process of him committing a felony (illegal gun/drug sale)? I know there’s a law on the books about murder charges being applicable if anyone died as a result of another felony being committed, even if the death was unintentional.
