According to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office, the 7th grade student at Capitol Middle School revealed the loaded .380 handgun during an altercation with two other students. The sheriff's office says an on-site school resource officer intervened and helped de-escalate the situation.

14 year old 7th grader. This is why public middle schools are often worse than high schools. These dumbasses drop out of middle school when they're 16 and never even make it to high school.

... now more of our tax dollars are going to be spent on this failed parenting experiment in the prison system. It's astounding how worthless NBR is.

Probably not. Kid is more than likely already old enough to go to big boy prison.

Capitol High huh?

That’s probably the only one they found.... and I’m sure (honestly) that he is just acting the way he was raised. Stupidity breeds stupidity

Normally I would assume it's stolen- but in this case all bets are off.

You do realize that's not that big of a deal?
You turn 13 in 7th grade. being held back a year isn't uncommon.
