God dammit.... I really wanna go to this now.

There not a lot of thinking things thru with this bunch. Every person who signs up ahead of time has 3 minutes to speak on the topic. The agenda is a light agenda but there are a few things that will take time due to their nature. It's also would have been the 38th birthday of A.S. so expect that to be part of the shenanigans. The most Barbara Fireberg is qualified to do is bake the freaking birthday cake.
Wouldn't that just further delay the funding?

Barbara Freiberg I believe will be the deciding vote but the rest will likely vote how their constituency feels about this
FWIW, I live in her district and I emailed her about it tonight. And urged her to vote against levying the tax

The good news is that JBE is a one-termer. Landry and Graves will Duke it out to see who obliterates his tax-heavy legacy in a few years. At that point with a Republican in office, order will be restored.
Order meaning their charter will be revoked, they will all be out on their arse, and a new Board made up of folks who actually care about all seniors and don't view the COA as a potential political machine will be placed in oversight of it and subtstantive, permanent changes will be instituted in both policy and process to prevent such terrible largesse and mismanagement from happening again.

No, it got delayed 60 days because the stupid arse council members in favor of the millage walked out in protest thereby setting off an automatic 60 day postponement. Just like everything else, they think parliamentary procedure is just something white folks do to sound fancy. They don't know it has legal/procedural ramifications.

Kind of like when we voted Trump and the Republicans in and we got the border wall, a big tax cut and Obamacare repealed, right?
Wrong, we vote, we get our party in, and they never do as promised.

The voter's voted prior to being exposed for major mass corruption. We cool baby... Give us our money.

Confirmed that Barbara Frieberg is not going to vote for levying the tax.

I hope they vote down or highly restrict the funds so we can witness the melt about racism and white supremacy oppression (a.k.a) keeping these morons from pillaging the coffers.

i just want them to get to a negotiation about oversight so "they" can show their asses in trying to take public money without anybody watching them
Posted on 6/12/17 at 8:15 pm to SlowFlowPro
They most definitely do not want any oversight. It will be funny watching them fight oversight and transparency. Their true colors will be revealed in that debate
Posted on 6/12/17 at 8:30 pm to tigerpimpbot
Oversight is a nightmare for this bunch.
The melt will be greater than ice on a Weber.

What does that mean? You want me to post the email?

I was just looking for a reason to use that gif
Is that what she told you when you emailed her?
