EBR Metro council just voted down Alton Sterling settlement

$5 million settlement voted down 6-5. They needed 7 votes to approve. Just breaking no link yet. I hope Tara Wicker was the deciding no vote.

True. No life insurer would have ever approved a $5 million policy on his life because he wasn't worth enough to justify insuring his life for that amount. No reason the council should pay it, either.
