John Valluzzo
I guess John has taken over for Charlie.

I saw this story last night and am not the least bit surprised. I live in Central and have always had issues with employees at that McDonalds. Just last week, I encountered, once again, a very dis-respectful young black girl with a serious attitude. I am a 55 year old white man. I was made to wait in one lane while prolly 4 or 5 cars advanced in the other lane (same issue the Sheriff stated). I said nothing. The I was made to pull up and wait for 15 minutes for a basic, simple order. Of course, when it was brought out I was missing part of order. I went in and had to deal with this girl who obviously had a problem and was very rude. I refrained, I left and swore I would never return. I believe everything this Sheriff quoted, because it has happened to me on many occasions. Giving in to this entitled youth movement is not right. They think they can get away with whatever and they respect no one. No way this officer of 26 years should have been fired. McDonald's & EBRP Sheriff's office is so wrong on this.
frick McDonald's!!!

frick McDonald's!!!

My instinct is to think he's full of shite too, or at the very least he misheard. I'm guessing he was aggravated at the service, wanted special treatment, McD employees gave zero fricks, so he made up a story that he knew would rile his Central-resident Facebook legion without questioning it for a second.
you would be wrong.......

From WAFB.
If this guy is telling the truth, it is based on his paranoid version of it. I don't believe at all his claim that his wife made the post for him.
The easiest thing in the world for McD's in this situation would have been to fire some powerless employee and move on. That they stuck by the employee says a lot.
quote:
McDonald's told the 9News Investigators that they fully investigated the deputy's claims and found them to be false, saying they have video that shows their employee did nothing wrong.
Baker's termination letter said his conduct was unbecoming and he allegedly lied to internal affairs in claiming that he did not use his work cell phone or work laptop to create the post.
Kiran: Where was the post posted from? Baker: From my wife's computer at home.
Kiran: Why did your wife make this post? Baker: Because I was at work.
Baker's profile picture was a picture of McDonald's with the words, "McDonald's does not back the blue." Last Thursday, Nov. 12th, he received an email containing in it a restraining order banning him from posting any more defamatory statements on any social media about McDonald's, but he said he has yet to be served personally. "Does not mean a thing to me because until you have been served personally, then it's not in effect," said Baker.

Ok, how can the person be disrespectful in the drive thru? They listen to your order and ask you for the money.

If you went back in, how were you dealing with the person working the drive thru again??? Did yo walk way in the back past the kitchen?
You never gave one example of disrespect or her being rude. I think you are lying. However, Mcdonalds is notorious for bad service.

not all the time.......
I was just adding some personal experience to this thread as it pertained to the subject matter. Especially since so many posters will rail against law enforcement officers regardless of the situation or facts. Y'all have a nice day.

I would be wrong, if it really happened. But neither of us truly know.
I live in Central, too. I've been to that McD location several times over the years and always receive standard service (read: acceptable, not great, but nothing to complain about). But my anecdotal assessment of their service is also not evidence of the truth. It will always be his word vs. the employee's. I only lean on the side of "it's bullshite" because it sounds like bullshite, but I know just as little as you do about what really went down. Bottom line, he wasn't fired for telling a hard-to-believe story.

I knew Chris back in the day 92-93. He was working as GM at the Jones Creek Location when I worked there. He was a cool dude(assume he was ~25 at the time) to us bad arse teenagers working there.
The EBR Prop Map shows it's a Valluzo property and he was contacted by Chris. So that issue is resolved.
Owner Name: MCDONALD'S CORPORATION
Owner Address: C/O CENTRAL VALLUZZO, L.L.C., 7077SOUTH CHOCTAW DR.

Well, that's obviously much more than being the local McD's owner in sleepy Central, which is how I took it originally. Sounds like he's the Roayle with Cheese King of SELA, if that's all from his fast food stores.
