Can only guess what happens when the free Covid money comes to an end. Now that people have gotten a taste for it, they’ll just go out and try to take from someone else once the fed stops sending it resulting in more crime/ deaths.

That projects out to about 172 murders by the end of the year. That's fricking insane...

We’ve got to be the highest rate in the country, right? By comparison, the TD-reviled City of Atlanta which has roughly the same population as EBR has had 54 murders.

ETA: Fun Fact - Tom Ed McHugh was the first republican mayor of BR since Reconstruction (1876). One of only four republican mayors in the history of the city.

So the coroner counts the bodies and we get a report. I guess that the number of shooting survivors will remain a closely guarded secret within the Broome administration.

Yes now that they have blocked incident updates to OpenData, you'll have to do a FOIA request

Hmmm....is there something that happened in 2005 that permanently altered the political makeup of Baton Rouge?

Asking for a friend.

Yikes. I knew it was bad but not that bad. And that's not to say the GOP is all the great either, but the proof is certainly in the pudding here with your list.
