Not if they agreed to work in a position where they are not entitled to either.

I agree. Is that what she agreed to and was that the policy is still in effect when she allegedly worked overtime? I may have missed that

Yes. Have you read none of this thread?

She wasn't eligible for OT, she worked OT, she heard FEMA would pay for her OT, then she had the COA bylaws changed so she could retroactively be eligible for OT.

These people are changing their own rules as they go so they can line their pockets and are demanding that the taxpayers give them $80 million with absolutely no oversight.

Also, 100k seems pretty cheap. I wouldn't do that job for that.

Don't worry. She doesn't either.

Yeah. I understand Freiberg's perspective, though. Terrible decision notwithstanding, the people of the Parish voted for the tax.

No way that tax would pass if voted on now. And the only difference is that people now have more accurate information about what will be done with the money.

He's just looking for any little misstep you may have taken with this situation so he can call you a racist

I understand all of this. Was just pointing out that I can also grasp why Freiberg would vote yes.

Exactly. There have been several threads here where multiple people have directly quoted from the audit all of the nefarious bullshite this group did and there are still posters asking "is this true?"

I'd imagine the general voting public is still not paying close enough attention so that if it t came up again, it would probably pass.

"We must help the elderly...I'm voting yes"

To think that this group of morons is about to have an operating budget of nearly $700,000 per month, every month for the next 10 years is beyond ridiculous.

Has anyone seen the video of Gravy supposedly lifting weights and running on the treadmill?? Dude looks like he's taking a massive dump.

I hate the guy, but if he's going to actually try and get into better shape then I won't knock him for that.

Plenty of other things to make fun of him about.

Although Gravy, since I know you're reading, you should know it's possible to get in better shape without posting it online for attention.

Serious question. Is there a requirement to get free stuff from this program? Because that lady getting the bag filled up in that photo hardly looks like a needy senior. Or can I just roll up there, tell them I am getting stuff for my auntie/grandma/etc. and just start grabbing up supplies? Because I wouldn't mind a bag full of toothbrushes (why isn't it a teethbrush?), Crest and toilet paper. It's my tax dollars so I wouldn't have a problem collecting some back.

That's a good question and I'd be interested to see just how much they regulate this kind of stuff.

This is yet another reason why there needs to be oversight. Let's say these types of events just turn into free stuff giveaways to anyone that wants them. What are the repercussions?

The answer is there aren't any.

Gravy is a stain on mankind. He should be knocked for everything thing he does.
