Eastern Time Zone Sucks

Been in Atlanta for a few weeks helping family with a remodel of their home. I live in Central time zone but having been here in Eastern time zone makes me realize how Central time zone is so much better
Shows, sports, etc come on 1 hour earlier in Central. The local news comes on at 10pm instead of 11pm. The whole dark/light time of the day is so much different in Eastern time zone - it sucks
I m very thankful that my home is in Central tine zone.

I prefer Central or Mountain. Eastern and Pacific throw me off big time.

Central is the far superior zone. We need a push to make it the National time zone. It would be much easier if you didn’t have to figure out what time zone people were in all the time.

Pacific is kinda crappy too, Northern states get dark at 4 this time of year.

I’ve lived in the eastern time zone since 2001 and I still hate it. Central is the best.

Pacific is the worst. Though I've never been to Hawaii. I imagine that takes getting used to.

I used to hate Eastern time when I was in college and Letterman came on at 1130 instead of 1030.
Now I'm grown up and late night tv sucks the fat one. I tried watching Jimmy Kimmel the other day. What a douche.

I lived in Central for 15 years and never got used to it. Got dark at like 4 PM in the winter. I'm glad to be back on Eastern time.

i think its the south central area west of Mississippi that is the best. Alabama time probably sucks, as do most things in alabama. South florida is okay too.

Huh? It’s the same in each time zone. The further west you are in an individual time zone, the later the sunrise.

I've been living in Eastern Time for a little over a year and a half now... the only thing that I really dislike about it is sports starting so late. I don't watch much late night TV, but west coast Astros games starting at 10 PM locally sucks. Sunday night and Monday night football games for the Saints starting at 8:30 sucks.
This has very little to do with what time zone you're in, far more influenced by lattitude.

how does this work? unless you lived further up north in central I don't get how you have more sunlight in eastern
