Sirius/XM is just as bad, listen to Classic vinyl, Classic Rewind , Deep Tracks for a week, and you start anticipating what song is next. I’m wearing out my channel buttons trying to find something I like that was not played in the last 24 hours.

I actually lean the other way...most classic rock stations have the same rotation of several hundred songs. So it's nice to see them breaking out of that a little bit, even if it's not a great song.

Agreed. I've heard Ain't Talking Bout Love a million times. Don't get me wrong, it was great, but I do like the deep tracks they play. KZMZ in Alexandria is really good too. Much better than the old classic rock when they played the same songs over and over and over.

You’re paying for the same dozen songs - might as well buy the tape

I sure as shite do. 97.1 The Drive in Chicago fricking rocks.

They have Two for Tuesdays where they play back-to-back songs from the same band, and one of them is often a deep cut. On Friday nights, they pick a live album and play it from start to finish. They'll also randomly mix in a rendition of the National Anthem instead of going to commercial break.

any local station that has a show about car vin #s and buying used cars needs to slapped or fire the program director.

i tuned in when i was in town a couple weeks ago and i couldn't believer my ears, one of the worse things i've ever heard

Just because you don’t like them doesn’t mean they suck.

Satellite radio snobs, almost as bad as beer snobs. I’m sure you think you’re sooo smart when you “threaten to cancel” every 6 months too.

So far, the artists sounds like the same “classic rock” bands that they played on that station in the ‘90s. Same playlist 30 years later. Have any 90s/00s bands been picked up by the classic rock stations? Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Black Crows, Smashing Pumpkins?

That’s like 96.9 or something right? My buddy at work and I love that station. We listen to it every time we travel in state if we can.
