Both are things most people had never even heard of Pre-COVID..

Now? They're both popping up like moles across America.

It wouldn't surprise if Dutch signs a contract with Flock and you have a new shiny cam at every drive thru location.

Dutch Bros was a PNW brand just like Starbucks for a while. They went public and expanded like wildfire because Americans like consuming 1,000 calorie milkshakes for breakfast disguised as "coffee". Same goes for 7 Brew which I believe is from Arkansas. Scooters coffee is starting to pop up outside of the plains as well.

Never had it but we had one pop up near me

AI Data Centers

Alphabet, Microsoft, and Amazon have been building out IT infrastructure for decades now, the explosion of data centers is fueled by Moore's Law dying, terrible energy policies and an unquenchable thirst for more compute power.

Dutch bros and 7 brew just opened her.

People paying $8 for coffee always surprises me, but these stores never close.

We never heard of you pre covid either.

How long before you end up with a flock camera up your arse?

Pretty much every drive thru in the US has cameras that police can access with a warrant.

Sorry to break the news my guy

Or maybe its not really in the toilet, but we're told it is on a daily basis so we start to believe it!

It’s not in the toilet but it certainly has performed better in the past.

Which is the foundation of Moore's Law

Again, computing power has reached (or is approaching) the physical limits of what can be achieved with our current chip architecture (and manufacturing techniques). But new computing technologies, like quantum computers, when developed, will follow the same pattern as Moore's law until we reach the limits of that technology....

Moore's law isn't dead, it's hibernating.

We can’t support all these companies.

Some over expanded and will find out the hard way. If there was a time not to open a restaurant or anything in that realm it would be now. Dollars are limited and becoming more limited as the days tick by.

I hope Starbucks goes under personally.

McDonald’s coffee is as good or better than all of the above companies mentioned. Fact.

And many of us have local places we go that have better coffee as well.

Until quantum computing becomes more economical. Which it will.

ETA: Lonnie beat me to it.
