Dutch bros and other coffee shops popping up all over show two things:

1) high margin businesses with relatively low barriers to entry invite competition

2) gas prices aren’t as high as the left want you to think. There isn’t a coffee on that menu that doesn’t cover the additional gas cost per week of the average driver.

“unquenchable thirst for more compute power” means “customer demand”. We are driving it.

The only time I don’t make my own coffee is traveling.

People paying $8 for coffee always surprises me, but these stores never close.

To be fair, a Dutch Bros large Americano is $3.98 and it's basically all espresso. Rocket fuel compared to the swill Starbucks and 7Brew charge as much for.

A lot of these loaded tea people are going to be on dialysis one day and don't even realize it yet. I'm the furthest thing from a health guru, but that's some of the worst shite you can possibly put in your body that's legal and sold over the counter.

No, I just find the back patting about not buying $4 coffee to be funny.

I find people paying for coffee on a daily basis to be even funnier. Stupid too.

It wouldn't surprise if Dutch signs a contract with Flock and you have a new shiny cam at every drive thru location.

Dutch Bros started in Oregon in the early 1990’s. They don’t do any franchising from what I know about them. They’re growing fast, when east coast friends come out west the teens go crazy over some Dutch Bros.

It’s often like that for various reasons IMO. In 2022 it was very hard to buy a first class plane ticket on short notice. The front of the plane sold out before the rest of the plane.
