think they had enough police presence? Slow crime day? No hot donuts anywhere?

deputy dan got a lil action for "rescinding" a ticket.

at the very end he's like " and the ticket he's asking me about? i dropped it. it was for a hit and run but, i felt like she didn't do it on purpose, leaving the scene. i mean there isn't even a ticket"

ummmm that's the issue , gomer.

My favorite part is the actual Sheriff of the county shows up and starts asking the deputy questions. As soon as the Sheriff finds out the guy is legit FBI, he takes off with the quickness and is nowhere to be seen on the body cam after that. He knows he's screwed!

Does anyone have a follow-up of how this ended?

Don't know about the officer, but here's what caused the whole thing.

Not surprised. Most of those cops are dumb as shite. Can't expect much when you hire retards that barely got through high school on 3 weeks training with a severe small man complex.

As usual, both parties are at fault here.

The FBI agent broke 0 laws and violated nobody's civil rights... the cop did both, at least once.

The cop was in no trouble before this either. Really screwed that up.

Interesting. So the big FBI "investigation" was over a bunch of nothing. Not excusing the way the deputy went about this, but it sure doesn't look like the FBI agent went about this the right way (unless of course there is a lot more to it than what that article says).

And I’ll say if an FBI agent calls whether you are innocent or guilty you immediately call a criminal defense attorney who is well versed in federal crimes.

Cop shite when he realized the FBI guy was legit. Cops like having the power. They don’t like dealing with someone with more power than themselves. It’s nice to see power hungry hungry cops with their balls in a vice.

“It all began Dec. 3 when Marilyn Bean, a St. George Island real-estate agent, backed her Mercedes sedan into a Cadillac coupe outside the Dollar General in Eastpoint.”

All this over a real estate agent. LOL

Putting anyone in a hot car and turning on the heat is a bitch move. Cop needs his arse kicked.

If you want to nail corrupt cops..... leave some doubt in their minds about whether you’re FBI or not. Have them treat you like a POS like they treat everyone else. The agent played it perfectly.

I'd imagine this (ticket fixing) was one piece of a larger investigation into corruption within the department.

The agent called the deputy to meet to have him act as an informant of sorts. Or see if the deputy would admit to being pressured into fixing the ticket since it was obvious they were interested in the Sheriff and not the deputy.
