Yep, and social media has exacerbated it immensely. Since women don't think, but rather feel, they fail to understand that what feels/seems commonplace by volume is, in fact, a very small percentage.
Example:
They see numerous women who live the "modern" lifestyle - meaning eschewing commitment in favor of girls nights and sleeping around - and then right before they hit the limits of marrying/childbearing age, a 6'4" hedge fund guy swoops in and marries them. They pop out a couple of kids, live in a mansion, and make "look how awesome my life is" videos for Instagram and TikTok.
Women see TONS of this on social media and think it's commonplace, therefore they can do it too. What they fail to realize is that while there are thousands of examples, that still only makes up a fraction of a percentage of the peopulation.
So no, ladies, that shite ain't happening to you. You're going to be like the 99.9% who have fun, then hit the wall in your 30s, can't find a nice guy (who you previously ignored) to save you, and wind up in a full-blown panic, bitter and alone.

IMO, the delusional white girl and social media crazy and online dating have all made it wayyyyy easier for your average baw to be happy.
Now all you have to do as a yong man to stand out in public is leave your phone in your pocket and actually socialize a bit. The batshit crazy delusional white girl has a really hard time hiding it now. Find the girl who also isn't staring at her phone. Boom, done. Fast train to pound town.

Wages are NOT double.
I don't disagree that RIGHT NOW there is a big problem, but that's just the last 4 years.
How people live, what they focuys on, has been a problem for over a decade now. Smartphones, Media, Technology, and keeping up with the Joneses has been an issue for a long time. And I don't think people were living within their means before the inflation spike - which means they don't know how to adjust now.

Back before the internet and social media you met someone in college or at a bar, church, etc. fell in love and got married.
Nowadays no one is good enough, something better is always out there, and that goes for both genders.
Of course we are stereotyping here. We’ve had a rush of nieces and nephews graduate college recently, some are getting married soon, others want nothing to do with it.

It's true. We all know the stat - How few tax payers there are, how many people can't afford a $5k emergency right now, etc.
The entire problem is that both sexes have bad habits - women want a "$100k minimum" salary because they want to travel the IG lifestyle, have a big house, get champagne every weekend, have 5 streaming services, a new cell phone every month, etc.
But so do a lot of guys.
But then everyone complains about how much stuff costs. Well, duh.

Traditional social groups and events had a strong place in society, thats been replaced with identity based social groups and the internet.
Those places, even the neighborhood bar were where people would meet those of likeminded interest.
