Using your bodyweight to subdue seems like the best tactic against an attacking animal that you significantly outweigh. I've thought that ever since that guy smothered that mountain lion in Colorado.

The dude in the video should have stayed on top of it and choked it to death.

What if dude is a meth head stealing materials do you still want the yard dog punished for doing it's job?

For the record only a meth head tries to MMA with a Pitbull.

I couldn't even finish the the thought that he needs to kick the little yapper before he swiped it

I respect the first effort when he got him pinned, but with the second attack by the dog, I would have summoned the rage I keep burried deep and tried my hardest to snap that fat neck.

Wow. Early on, I did appreciate the backwards kick to the little mut who wanted a piece of his ankle.
Any details of how he handled the dog when it was under him?

That might be what got all of this started.

.22 to the dog’s skull please

A collar-less Pitbull showed up at our farm and had already terrorized our close neighbor's yard dogs. Then it came to our house. We found that a .22 shot at the skull of said dog just bounced off the skull.
Other solutions were more successful..

I kept waiting for him to body slam it or to toss it over that wall instead of trying to get it through that door

Thankfully it wasn’t a woman or a child because they’d be dead.

That’s why I wish he would’ve just choked it out. The next person might not be so lucky.

Was it still alive when he took it back to the enclosure? Wasn’t really moving much, seemed limp.

He was way nicer than he should have been.

He should have tied that thing to the ground and ran it over with his car

Great job by the guy but once I would’ve got him in that chokehold I’d have tried my best to choke him to death.
