If I told her $20 she would have had a hat for me but it would have been a faux fur that sheds all over the place in about a week. Or it would have been rabbit fur. The hat I bought is mink. It still had the original manufacturer's tag hanging from it which described the region where it was made and the material it was made from. My interpreter examined the hat with me before I bought it and said she was sure it was genuine mink.
I still have the fur hat I bought and it still looks great. The only problem is there are only about 2 days each winter in Baton Rouge that are cold enough for me to wear it and not start sweating.
