Looking at testing data, 3.3% of cocaine samples and 1.1% of MDMA samples contain fent. Way too high of a percentage to roll the dice on. Testing strips can only catch so much, and newer synthetic opiods are even harder or impossible to detect.
It used to be when you heard someone overdosed, you kind of thought, "yeah, I could see that from that guy," but now it could be any kid wanting to have a good time on the weekend.

Considering it's an hour from Memphis to Oxford and five hours from New Orleans, I'd say it's a heck of a lot more likely that something would come from Memphis.
