You just be pretty insecure if you feel the need to shite all over Louisiana to feel better about where you live.

Boy, that thread the other guy posted titled "Drove across the state of Texas - Observations" must have really gotten to you.

This thread says a lot more about you than the Great State of Louisiana
The Texas thread says a lot more about the OP of that thread than the Great State of Texas
Miserable life the OP's are living

Yeah I disagree with the entire thread.
First of all, Baton Rouge to Lafayette takes 46 minutes.
Houston to Dallas takes exactly 4 hours.
I drove from Ft Walton Beach to El Campo recently, which meant I drove across the entire state of Louisiana, and it’s a pleasant drive.
Texas roads are better, sure, but the Louisiana roads aren’t as bad as people make them out to be.
Then you get to Lake Charles...
Driving across the Calcasieu River Bridge is a total nightmare.
Louisiana DOT should be ashamed of itself for calling the Calcasieu River Bridge “Safe.”
Texas had two bridges comparable to the Calcasieu River Bridge, both on I-10 and not far from Lake Charles: the Sabine (Texas State Line)and Trinity River Bridges (between Beaumont and Houston).
What did TxDOT do?
They rebuilt the Sabine River Bridge in 1999, and rebuilt the Trinity River Bridge in 2007. They also lowered their height and expanded their width.
Louisiana is way behind the times.

So you stayed within the confines of a 20 foot wide boring arse concrete road, your entire way across the state, and formed this opinion?
Posted on 5/25/19 at 10:28 am to Gray12
Everything you just said was true. Nobody can deny that this state is an absolute shite hole

I shared two separate opinions.
Which one are you speaking of?

You could always bypass Louisiana if it’s that bad.

But I-49 is a dream drive.
It operates how the interstate highway system was envisioned by the original designers.

Drove across the entire state of Louisiana yesterday and today: Observations
I've lived in La. my entire life, and there are a few things I like, but way more negatives.
I've traveled around the U.S. a good bit, and me and the Mrs. are waiting for my retirement and we'll be headed to greener pastures. That's the great thing about living in the U.S. If you don't like a state, you can move to a better one.
