Mogadishu is "concentrated, unique and very exciting" ... not sure how entertaining it would be.

But I-49 is a dream drive

Good road but I-49 is loaded with LSP and some even worse cartels like the Washington Police Department who will pull people over for going 1 over on a bad day and 5 over on a good day. If these guys didn’t have ticketbooks, they wouldn’t have jobs at all.

And besides, who wants to go to Alexandria...

I’m convinced i12 has more 18 wheelers on it at any given time than any other interstate in the country.

As a trucker, I'd say it's I-80 in Ohio

I believe I-40 between Little Rock and Memphis will give I-12 a run.

It’s funny that a Louisiana based website gives zero fricks about Texas, but all the Texas transplant posters can’t pull the Louisiana dick out of their mouth

Driven I-49 hundreds of times and never gotten a ticket. Always have cruise set on 5 over

Drove to Austin yesterday and saw no less than ten cars pulled over in Texas

Anecdotes are fun

There’s probably more Texas-based posters on TigerDroppings than Louisiana-based posters.

Drove across the entire state of Louisiana yesterday and today: ObservationsLouisiana totally sucks. Lafayette to Baton Rouge takes longer than it takes to go from Houston to Dallas. In New Orleans, the culcha will get you if you don’t look up your hotel. The culcha may still get you if you are unlucky. On the highways, the LSP and other cartels will get you if you don’t pay attention to constantly changing speed limits that change more often than the number of injury lawyer billboards out there. If it’s not the LSP, the pot bellied baws who think they are driving Nascars will hit you with their 18 wheelers. Don’t forget all the Altimas driven by inner city pants sagging drivers swerving around as they are too busy getting constantly hit on by LP trailer thrash chicks on twitter while they drive. Since it sucks so much, people are bound to drink more. Congrats on the corruption though. If you are corrupt, you can make it as a politician. At least you St. George baws can hang your hat on fighting it.

Dude be honest, you didn't "SEE" all of those things. This is what the driver told you he was seeing while you drove across the state. We know where your head was, and you really don't have to take him not warning you before he let go out on the state of LA. That's just petty...

Hey, if you don’t like hauling auction vehicles that barely run to Mexico, find another job, don’t take it out on us

The I-40/I-44 corridor has more trucks than any other freight corridor by a decent margin. The I-10/I-12 corridor isn't even close.

Ok I agree with everything you said except living in Lafayette and traveling to Baton Rouge twice a week for 2 years for work It never took 46 mins unless it was after 7pm and before 7am. No less then an hour and a half during normal travel hours on weekdays. That stretch of road between Henderson and the Mississippi River bridge may be the worst. I would say most days during daylight hours you could get from Houston to Lafayette faster then I could get from Lafayette to Baton Rouge.

1)Austin is in middle of annual safety campaign. All over the news so no crossing solid white lines this weekend while here..
Way more ticket writers in LA in than TX. And its not even close.

2)Yes, I-12 is a terrible road its true but I-81 to I-40 has way more freight traffic. I-10/12 is just way worse drivers. No fricks given for professionalism in the dirty south!?
