Yup, buy it with a chase sapphire reserve, Amex plat and you get a new phone and they handle the paperwork.
ETA: lost a pair of Maui Jim’s in the waves and one iPhone in an Uber. No questions asked and both replaced.

Apple's phones are a little bit better than their competition.
Apple's computers don't have any real competition. When I have to go back and use Windows, it kind of feels like driving a truck with cylinder deactivation. There's just this frustrating layer of bullshite between you and what you're trying to accomplish.

A friend of mine dropped hers in a porta potty toilet at a CFB game several years ago and needed it back for insurance. Paid a drunk college kid (we were a few years out at this point) 75 dollars to get it out and put it in a bunch of ziplocks from a tailgate.
