Ive seen at least 12 state police officers drive by one behind the other… two speed traps set up on the side of the road.. and we aren’t even to Alexandria.

Great to see our boys in blue protect the streets of Louisiana from people doing 10 over the speed limit on a road through nowhere…

Great to see after reading about daily shootings back home in BR. It’s desert storm in BR but don’t worry y’all, JBE’s booming Louisiana economy has us dependent on speeding tickets to pay the light bill

Those state police murders aren’t going to cover up themselves

Leaving Opelousas only to go to Shreveport sounds like an alternate version of hell

What does this even mean? You obviously don't know much about Desert Storm.

49 is an easy interstate to get busted on. Nice smooth surface with nothing around.

Watch out in St Landry's parish. Popo wrote me a ticket there a few yrs back. My brother got one too.

especially when you get close to ellick and the limit drops without much of a warning.

The GOP has controlled the Louisiana Legislature for the last 15 to 20 years. Perhaps you should change your focus from a democratic governor dealing with a GOP controlled legislature and maybe ask the Legislature to start getting things done.

You could always bring back Jindal, he was the darling of the whole GOP and he was everybody's favorite governor.

Yeah, State popo gave me a ticket in St Landry about 10 years back, lying that I was going like 80 when I know damn well I was going right at the speed limit of the time (65?)since I had set cruise to the speed limit. Driving sporty red car, so automatic ticket.

I've gotten every single one of my tickets in St. Landry and Evangeline Parish. It's always going just 5 mph over the speed limit (which there is a like of signs for). A logistics company my friend works for wanted to build a hub at that Ville Platte exit just north of Opelousas that was going to employ 100+ people but pulled out due to Sheriff's stopping them for dumb reasons.

Well, in fairness, I'm sure they located my stolen bicycle first, right?

I got one there about 10 years ago too. Originally stated he clocked me going 9 over the limit. The trooper also said he he could cite me for inoperable license plate light but he wasn’t going to this time. This was during the day.

I was unsure how he knew that my license plate light didn’t work at 12:00 in the afternoon, but wasn’t going to argue. I signed the ticket and drove away. I later looked at the ticket and he wrote 14 mph over the limit. I remember it specifically because I was purposely going 9 over thinking if I kept it under 10 than I wouldn’t get pulled over. So, he racked in 5 extra mph. Don’t tell me this is about public safety.

Don't speed and there won't a be a problem. Probably shouldn't post and drive either.
