Driving on the interstate with the windows down

Alright, my friend and I were talking about this yesterday and I had to get the OT’s opinion. What’s the point of driving on the interstate at 75mph with the windows down? Does half of Georgia not have AC? Or does half of Georgia smoke?
It seems dumb because you’re inducing a lot of aerodynamic drag. Plus 70mph winds in your face gets annoying after a while.
Is this trashy or nah?

Nothing like nice Spring air on a Sunday drive with the windows down. You are acting like people only drive on the interstate. You do know they have to get on and off the interstate.
Plus much of Georgia (esp Atlanta area) is at a very high elevation. Georgia has awesome spring air up in the hills.

There's a certain segment of the population that does this even when it's 95 degrees and 95% humidity. Friend of mine and I always laugh about it. Makes no sense.
