Is this ok with you?

There have even been times, as recently as 2 days ago where I would go out to the car just to grab something, with no intention of leaving.... As I walking, some person would drive slowly from behind and wait for me to pull out. I’ll grab whatever I needed from the car and go back into the building…without even acknowledging the person who is waiting.

She was clearly irritated and sped off.

If you just shake your head at them to let know you aren’t leaving, they won’t get irritated, because they didn’t waste any time.

(Unless you just enjoy this for some reason.).

It’s not a good idea to give somebody a reason to key your car.

If you are walking to a shady spot, even if it is a quarter mile from the door, I am stalking your arse!

In the 90's I lived off campus and had a commuter lot pass at UGA. There was a severe lack of parking at the time. The modus operandi is there would be a line of cars waiting on a sidestreet, and when a student would start walking into the parking lot, the next car in line would follow them to their car and park. It was mostly an orderly process.

But one day, I was following my student to their car, but they crossed over a parking lane so I had to whip around the whole aisle real quick and some other bitch snagged the spot. I just happened to have a machete in my car, so I brandished it. Then drove off, parked downtown and took my parking ticket like a man, so I wouldn't be late. Apparently the young lady was shaken by the incident, I read about myself in the paper the next day.

frick their lazy asses. If they don't have the energy to park farther away from entrance and walk across the parking lot like everyone else does, they won't have the energy to check your knuckles or key your car.

They're stupid frickers who believe getting a close parking spot is some sorta personal victory.

I like to lead them down a lane and then cut 2 or 3 lanes over, maybe even circle back

I love that word. If you brandish something, it must be intimidating, right? You can't BRANDISH a Taco Bell spork, can ya?

I agree, I intentionally park further back where I don’t have cars on both sides of me most of the time. And a lot of times I will still beat the searchers to the door of the establishment. That’s why I don’t feel bad messing with them occasionally.

What get me is the people who get upset about a spot literally only 10 feet closer to the building.

I try to park kind of farther away for 3 reasons. I dont trust other people to not scratch my car, I'm still relatively young and a closer spot may serve an elderly person better, and I dont mind extra exercise

Don’t be to hasty to not pick up a potential bird nest on the ground.

If the other driver is a nice-looking female, it can be the basis for negotiations-

“This is a really nice parking spot and you’re going to have to earn it the hard way.”

Possibly she put that thought into my head...

I like to walk around full parking lots and point my key fob at random cars. When a driver starts following me, I go to their window, shrug, and say "Sorry, I actually took the bus here"

Same here.. except i’m not that young, so i dont think about an elderly person needing the spot... and i dont care so much about my car getting scratched.. i guess i just dont mind the exercise.

I’m ok with not finding a parking spot that’s close to where i’m going, i dont mind the walk- what gets me is when I’m trying to park and there are NO spots to park, near or far.. seems to happen mainly at Costco, or when I’m trying to park near the river downtown to take a run or something... But what i really hate is that we’ve gotten to a point in society where i feel like i have to almost sneak back to my car to leave, b/c if someone sees me getting in, they’re gonna sit there and pressure me to leave... I hate that these fricks try to rush me, they just need to chill or move onto another spot.

If there's zero parking spots, i don't mind someone following me to my spot.
If i'm at Rouses, and there's spots 20 feet from where i parked, yet you're going to wait for me to get out my spot, then i might sit in my truck for a little while to be a dick and make you wait since you're a lazy frick.

I would never follow someone to a spot. I'd simply park further away, even if it meant parking in a different lot.
