the contemporary home is perched on 20 acres of land in a private, gated community known as Homestead, the auction company said. The luxurious community, located 13 miles outside of Whitefish, features a personal concierge, a lakeside clubhouse and a golf course.
Residents have access to a number of water sports activities — fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding — on Little Bootjack Lake, Concierge Auctions said. Other available outdoor activities include hiking, as well as shooting and archery shooting rangers.

listing prepares to go up for auction next month.
Why is it being put up for auction instead just put on the market to sell?
Does this allow the private community to have more control over who lives there?

Montana real estate must be stupid expensive for some reason...
Limited supply, rich out of staters during and shortly after the pandemic, and it’s pretty awesome to live in.
Median home price in Bozeman is over a million. Gallatin County is about 750-800k. Big Sky (very much like Whitefish) is more like 1.7-2.1 million.
A shitty 3/2 chalet in the middle of mostly employee housing is 950k.

That explains why I’ve seen him skiing on Big Mountain in whitefish before! Didn’t know he had a house there. Bro lives there and we make at least one ski trip a year there.
ETA home prices have skyrocketed there since the pandemic

He's done far more good for the people of Louisiana than you ever will. A couple of bad decisions don't un-arse that unless you are a lower tier idiot like yourself
Exactly… Drew Brees donated 10 million dollars (half his salary) his last season to help louisiana…
He’s also contributed over 50 million dollars to different charity’s he’s believed in, to help cancer patients and families since 2003 (just a google away)
He’s done a lot more good then bad but most of you can’t see that over politics…
Drew doesn’t owe ppl money just bc he’s rich… he donates out of the goodness of his heart…
And the people criticizing him are people who haven’t done 1/10th of what Drew has done to help ppl…
You just have to shake your head at these insecure losers who just want to bash him…

I think I could design something much better for almost 8 mil

Does he have money problems? Why would he buy something and turn around only 1 year later to sell for a loss?

This is hilarious.
He didn’t really want to live in Montana.

If the first thing you have to do to a 7M dollar 1700 sq foot house is remove the tree from it and lower it down to the ground, you may need to reevaluate your decision.

I love how Brees is the only Saint who continues to get crap for that when it was the entire team wearing it and it was Sean Payton's idea.
CSP didn't get nearly enough hate for this. A strong coach would have called Malcolm Jenkins into his office at the beginning of all this and told him to STFU. Instead of that, he let the best player on his team get hung out to dry by a mid-tier safety that was on his way out.

I mean a tiny frame house in whitefish is like 850k on a small lot.

The guy's easy to hate man. He's a weakling, a sell out. And he sold out for an ESPN gig he couldn't even keep.

If all the team jumps off a cliff, does Brees jump? If you can't stand up for what you believe, then you are a simpleton. Brees is a simpleton, but a rich simpleton.

Damn, not a good 7.5Mill investment
He can ask anything that he wants, but I don't think he paid anywhere near that unless he bought the whole mountain too.
