Here's a rant: I've noticed the quality of draft beer is pretty bad right now. Most of these restaurants and "tap rooms" are clearly just letting their kegs go bad and sticking the customer with a terrible $7 beer.

I know times are tough for the industry, but they've already raised their prices, have worse service than before, and expect a standard 30% tip. Not feeling very bad for them.

Well, maybe BR beer sucks? I can’t tell you the last time I’ve had one.

I went about 5 months this year without a draft beer.

The first one I had could have tasted like spoilt breast milk and I’d have still finished it.

That's some tips over in the hurricane thread to prevent this type of thing from happening.

Maybe instead of drinking beer and putting peoples lives at risk you should stay inside and wear your mask

This happened to me right when things started opening back up, but hasn't happened in a long time. Granted, I go to places that sell a good bit of beer so they've rotated their kegs plenty by now.

It's actually true as brewers are brewing less and business because of restrictions are sitting on older kegs and not pumping out as much. So a keg of Ghost that may last a month is probably lasting 2-3 months now

Avenue Pub was bitching about this. The distributors won't take the old kegs back. And they can't afford to buy new ones without getting rid of the old ones.

Here in FL they are rocking along. Haven’t noticed any skunky beer.

There’s a couple of places here that bring in kegs from across the country. No issues at those either.

We’ve had the luxury of being more open longer though.

Avenue Pub made their own bed. They could have opened months ago with a restaurant permit since they actually have a kitchen. frick em.
