Qualifications come into play, along with how thin the pool is because they apparently are excluding roughly 88% of the US population from consideration.

Given that her judgment is already suspect in the wake of the recent fiasco, expect a lot of scrutiny over every hire from now on.

I don't know much about him but his son taught me at LSU. His son is a class act. He didn't show an ounce of bias and encouraged debate while respecting all viewpoints.
