Double-shooting on Nicholson Drive leaves one person dead, a second person injured

The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office says the incident occurred shortly before 4 a.m., at an apartment situated within the 11900 block of Nicholson Drive.
Deputies say the shots were fired during an altercation between the apartment's occupants.
According to authorities, one victim was killed and a second victim is wounded but in stable condition.

From the picture in the news article, it appears the homicide occurred at the Meadows at Nicholson. Yes, that would be the new apartment complex adjacent to Gardere.

Unfortunately there are still a lot of smaller duplexes and fourplexes that aren't going to be easily bought up en masse and torn down.

This is a daily reminder for the media or anyone still buying what BLM is selling that this one shooting on one night in Baton Rouge produced 2 people being shot which is only 7 less black people shot than the entire year of police shootings in 2019 of unarmed black people by police.
There is a systemic problem but it certainly isn't what the media and liberals want to actually talk about.
