If this Covid lockdown has made one thing glaringly obvious it's that you should never ever trust anything anyone in government says or does. We should scrutinize everything. Especially at a local and state level which has far more impact on your life than national politics.

Your default position for all politicians should be distrust.

Okay, this is just getting comical now.

Prior to this whole situation, the population of people known as politicians, a group that is nearly universally derided as moronic, corrupt, or both, and always has been, was expected by people to stop being moronic, corrupt, or both?

Why would anyone expect them to act any differently than the way they have always acted?

The blue when it comes down to brass tacks is an arm of the government and will use every ounce of authority given to control the public even under the freedom killing disguise of public safety.

The blue is not our friends.

The only thing more crooked, corrupt and untrustworthy than a Politician is the Mainstream Media. And that’s still a pretty close race.

This can not be stated enough.

The greatest word in the English language is "Why?". The vast majority of people never ask this question.

I've got no problem with cops doing their job and taking care of crime. I have a problem with the police basically being a fundraising arm of the govt though. I also have a problem with 'the thin blue line'. Nobody should be above the law just because they're supposedly enforcing the law. And yet, they are.

We are a nation of laws and rights. A cop who doesn't know the law they are supposed to uphold is worse than not having a cop. Removing immunity would be a good start to take care of the bad ones.

That way instead of just complying, you can comply and bitch at the same time.
