Pretty much how the crime task force in Memphis has been so effective, busting people over various motor vehicle infractions. Illegal tint, fake temp tags, no tags, etc., criminals are dumb and lazy.

FFS. Now you think you can ride around uninsured, unregistered and with no license.
Tell me you be traveling without telling me you be traveling.

Maybe they should have called a social worker? You probably can’t even see the license plate. LOL

They never should have waited for the parents to get there.

Half of this board is riding around with an expired inspection sticker, or without one at all

Yes, but they do definitely pick and choose which laws to enforce
Everyone can deal with the visor but you can’t have your plate covered.
The amount of fraud due to paper plates, stolen cars etc. is incredible

Murder clearance rate nationwide is less than 60%.
But we sure do enforce traffic laws.
Make us feel safe?
Murder is a lot harder than pulling people over in speed traps like Alexandria and far far less lucrative.

Police are often out of line but it's best to save it for the judge once you are detained is best to give in go quietly and not speak.

Lol. Judging by your name you also grew up dodging overzealous panda bears. Kpd once got me for 41 in a 35. Window tint and multiple break tags.

I agree but laws are laws no matter how much we agree or not. You will always find a bored cop or a city trying to boost “safety” to get revnue. Point is, as minor as it seems. It’s still a law and you can get ticketed/stopped for it.

I also agree and will raise it that the reasoning for tiny being illegal is for safety reasons however most police cars are double limousine in some areas. I don’t know how it’s safe for them but not me. Guess they go through extensive driving with dark windows training.
I have dark windows, low windshield strip and no inspection sticker. Those laws are stupid. However when I get stopped, I say yes sir. No sir. Thank you. And pay my ticket. Yelling at the cop and telling them they are dumb and it’s a dumb law will get you no where. He’ll half of them will prob agree. But will also say yeah, it’s dumb, but it’s the law. Have a nice day.

Who investigates Murders? Traffic cops or detectives? Now if detectives spent all their time pulling over cars for covered plates you might have a point, but they don't so...

Please complie a full list of laws that you feel are a waste of time and resources to enforce. Submit that list to all your law makers and request they be repealed.

Entitlement. They have been told they are entitled to act and say those things. No wonder the statistics are so embarrassing for black community when you have adults acting like that.

Best advice yet.
My wife was a legal secretary in Tampa. I was always on the road more often as a Sales Manager. Means my percentages increased. And I was pulled over more often for stupid shite. But in the encounters, I was polite and argumentative. Most of the time released. Some citations dismissed because he didn’t know the exact law.
Don’t make your day worse. Sometimes $50 is not worth jail time

I have blacked out windows and have not had an inspection sticker in over a decade.
If i get stopped for it, it’s my own fault and i will accept that.
Tint and inspection stickers are not moving violations so they don’t go against insurance or your license. Why make it something unnecessary?
Just pay the ticket and move on

Of course the daughter has learned from her parents that "dem po-pos is bad"
Idiots are gonna idiot but the officers should not have entertained the mom by waiting there for her. Just write the damn tickets to the girl while her mom is still on the phone and go on.

Plate cover is what got her pulled over. Plate readers can’t read it. That’s a big No No

She got pulled over for an obstructed and tinted license plate, fool.
