employee must have been minority because i heard nothing about the employee being fired. If white person laughed at ucresha. They would have been fired next day and airline be talking settlement.

Stupid name...mom should be ridiculed, not the child.
I noticed the article says the child suffers from epilepsy so they preboard.
Having epilepsy does not affect your ability to walk and you do not need more time to board. Like 95% of the "preboarders" on Southwest, it's about laziness and cheating the system.
As far as dumb names...when I did my OB-GYN month in med school a lady had a set of twin boys...she named them Jose and Jos-b. (pronounced Hozay and Hozebee).

My brother-in-law works for the State Probation & Parole Board and had a guy he was in charge of monitoring years ago and went to check on him and his living situation.
He asked the guy who was also living in the house and he said his wife and daughter and my BIL asked for their names. He gave the names and my BIL asked him to spell the daughter's name. The guy spelled it Ashole and said her name was pronounced "A-sho-lay.
Can't imagine going through life with that name.

Grew up with a kid named Geoff (Jeff). We called him Gee-off his entire life and he eventually changed the spelling of his name as an adult. That's just an alternate spelling of a normal name, I can't imagine what kids with made up names have to deal with. 100% the parents fault.

Shameless confession: In small local level elections where I didnt care the outcome, I would vote for the most rediculous or funny names. Im pretty sure I sparked the political career of a "Smallwood" that always ran for a position.
