If I was to stop using Gillette, I would need recs on new razors. It’s all I’ve ever used. This place is as good as any for that sort of thing.

Maybe it's because a razor hasn't touched my face in over a decade, but I always viewed these cheap razors like toothbrushes, as in they were all the same

but the Gillette commercial basket has apples and bananas and no turds.

So kids roughhousing is wrong and some evil behaviour that must be stamped out? Raunchy humor is bad?

You people are missing the Forest for the trees.

This is just another piece of a concerted campaign to feminize and emasculate men and boys.

They want your balls. They want you so cowed and docile that you don’t dare Stand up for yourself when it matters. This is social conditioning.

You all don’t see the pattern here?

Why do I feel like this guy?

If people stopped posting threads they shouldn't post, this board would be a ghost town. Where's the fun in that?

Not everybody is an unwashed hippie man. Personal grooming products are quite the rage in some circles.

Except no one smeared shite in his face. It’s an ad, not a physical attack on someone. Your straw man doesn’t fly.

Sounds like there are some big snowflakes in this thread. Sad.

Schick hydro 5 as far as the more mainstream ones go

Mainstream? Gillette and Schick have ripped off their clientele for years. You really want to pay $24.00 for a 5 pack of cartridges.

Unless you have some hyper sensitive skin issues, Harry's ravor has held up to both my old Fusion and Proglide Gillette products

I am not a fan of men being all whiny and offended on the internet over an ad. They don't see they are being SJW snowflakes, demanding justice for the social transgression against them. . .

I think this is a common mistaken attempt be "objective" and ignores the distinctions between 2 different views.

One side gets offended and is trying to create legal punishments that would violate constitutionally protected rights because their feelings are hurt.

One side gets offended and is trying to show people why and tell them if they agree they can vote with their $ and not violate anyone's protected rights.

Can you guess which side is which, typically?

Shave like a man - get a DE safety razor or a straight razor. Learn how to make real lather from real shaving cream or soap.

Give up the plastic toys and chemicals.

I liked Harrys a lot but they're waaaaayyyyy to the left of Gillette if people are looking for replacements.

I'll probably switch TO Gillette now in order to keep from aligning myself with the kind of tender-feelings dolts who actually get asshurt over a goddamn commercial.

Yes, that’s what SJW WANT you to do.

We’ve done the whole “don’t care” attitude for years while more and more liberal social values have run amok, and look where things have ended up, with even corporations of entirely non-political products and services feeling pressure to take up social issues.

Maybe it’s time to start caring more?

I work with a guy who tried to take the "I don't watch the NFL" approach with me when I would try to talk to him about the Saints in Sept/Oct.

But boy, he sure was allllllll over talking playoffs and Saints vs Rams, etc. Yesterday. And he is one of those type guys who would agree with the OP by the way. A guy who feels like he needs to go out of his way to prove to the world he's such a "manly man", rather than just being a fricking man.
cool single anecdotal evidence bro.

I've been using a Merkur for ten years as well. I used a Mach 3 recently while on vacation and couldn't believe what a terrible job it did.

Which razors do you use? I've had good experiences using the Feather brand.

maybe, i dont know him. he is crowd sourcing information instead of, hey im gonna buy 4 different razers and get razor burn until i like something.

If he came in OMG bitching and moaning i would understand your position. IF he started the thread with just "Hey i need a new brand of razor, it would be full of "Why you changing bro?" "You mad at gillete bro?"

you damned if you give too much info, your damned if you dont.

I've heard but they haven't made commercial shoving those values down my throat...at least not that I'm aware of.
