They charge you on low cost, high volume items to keep the real cost of entree's down. It is unfortunately necessary

You don't want that crap anyway. It's full of chemicals to keep it 'fresh' and from sticking into a mess.

Buy yourself a nice parmesan chunk from the best grocery store or Italian deli and grate to your heart's content. Worlds better than that crappy dust in little packets.

Probably the only thing on the menu that contains >50% real ingredients.

OP can't afford the .50 packet.

No way he can pay 6.99 a pound.

They've always been supposed to charge you. But most of the time they'll give it to you for free because they know how stupid it is, unless the manager is being a real hardass over it that week.

All the pizza chains now charge for packets of stuff and sauces.

I am sure it is only a matter of time before Taco Bell starts charging for their Mild Sauce packets

I'm not above a shitty delivery pizza, but Domino's is at the bottom of that list.

But pick up coupled with member/in-app deals is some of the cheaper fast food you can get.

We got 3 large specialty pizzas for $32 Saturday and had leftovers for Sunday.

Ordered dominos Friday

No extra charge for Parmesan or red peppers

Interesting
Yep , no charge either just last week. I don't really put it on the pizza but freeze it for hiking trips. Same as I do with hot sauce, mayo (don't freeze), and most other condiments.... Mayo, pre-cooked bacon, and lettuce is a killer backpacking or race training day lunch.

How much did your wife eat?

The "Dolly" system. When I worked my first non-ag job I worked for a Church's Chicken. The assistant manager, who ran the place, would charge for extra catsup, napkins, etc. (very arbitrary, and often directed against black patrons). "I need extra catsup." "20 cents a pack."

Keep some frozen pizzas handy. Id rather that over a 30 plus delivered. Plus I can add stuff to it

In the beginning it was 30 minutes or free. No way was a dominoes delivery guy walking up 8 flights at Neilson Hall

If I'm ordering a pizza from a chain, it's Jets or I'm not buying a Pie.

This isn't close to being true. It's the only one that doesn't completely suck actually.

Domino's

Pizza Hut (Pizza Hut sucks though)

Little Caesar's

Papa John's
