A device to stalk or track is not free speech.

This app doesn't do that.

This app allows people to post publicly-available information they observe.

I am aware that this is a gotcha attempt, but before calling you retarded, I figured we should drill down a bit more.

Are you suggesting that people should be exempt from consequences for their actions?

How is obstruction of justice, aiding and abetting, or whatever other criminal act you want to call it free speech?

The problem is that you're framing this as those crimes without the justification for doing so.

How is a person communicating with others the location of LEO in a public area "obstructing justice" or "aiding and abetting" ?

The odds of being fired as a federal employee are small, but never zero

I don't like the hypocrisy being pointed out and certainly don't want to discuss how this attacks the 1st Amendment, so I'm trying to remove the ability to discuss either summarily

One warns people before they violate the law. The other is after people have violated the law.

We don't know this

I tell people about DUI checkpoints all the time. I have no idea if they are driving legally or not.

Just last week I posted cops running radar. I have no idea if the people who read that were speeding or not.

I will say IceBlock is a witty, perfect name for the app.

Some cops use Waze and post fake "police" hits.

So if I intentionally out an undercover cop in front of a cartel leader knowing he ends up getting put in a woodchipper, I have no criminal culpability?

You're not that stupid, are you?

Depends on how you look at it. If Waze warns of a cop, or object in the road, pothole, etc., and you slow down, the app has benefitted all by preventing an accident.

In that case, it should be a standard in all vehicles.

She owns shares in the company. She had a conflict of interest working for a department wanting to enforce the laws of our country and being an owner of a company that has built an app to circumvent the enforcement of certain laws of our country. When the DOJ starts looking into funding mechanisms being hidden by the organizers of the groups breaking laws and committing violence where will her allegiance be?

It is an app that has been pushed on news to do this and knowingly does other things like help stalk ICE officers during their job per the laws enacted by our elected representatives in legislative branch and enforced by our executive branch. It also puts ICE officers and other citizens around them in more danger when the illegal gets a chance to run or prepare to resist instead of being quickly and surprisingly apprehended.

EDIT: That is before you get into aiding and abetting and obstruction as many times the ICE officers are looking for specific illegals that are known due to Biden’s autopen allowing them in, allowing them back in, and giving them temporary status that’s been ended or the illegals known from other crimes that they have committed while in the country illegally without being deported in the past due to Biden or sanctuary cities & judges.
