Is there anything that can be done for this besides the Ole Yeller treatment? It’s fricking disgusting.
INB4 stop fricking your dog’s butt.

How old is the dog? Take them to the vet and have them check it out.

Go get their anal glands expressed. You'll thank everyone later.

Aw, that little stinker! I believe any pet groomer, even PetSense and such, can “express the anal gland,” if you come to a confident conclusion that’s what it is. That route would probably be a bit cheaper.

Friends in Houston had her aged beagle. They restricted the dog to two rooms of their house and those rooms' floors were totally covered with shower curtain liners.
Without going into details, she'd had too many losses in her family to put down the one good thing left from her childhood and her husband was understanding.

The OP can do this himself if he’s not a puss.

Is it consistent or do you think it ate something it shouldn't have? If it's the latter, what's always worked for my dogs is cooked white rice mixed with plain boiled chicken. Follow that up with some canned pumpkin mixed with plain Greek yogurt. Fixes my dogs digestive problems pretty much right away.

My vet told us the same. I told him I would rather keep paying him $125 per visit.

Like actually leaking or just the squirts?

If you can express your dog’s anal glands you are in the minority. I’ve pulled calves and afterbirth, and no way can I do anal glands. Nope.

Because no one, at least at that price, wants to do it. Tells you how bad it is.

Geesh, get his anal glands expressed before they get infected.

Express Yourself (you tube)
Of course you tube has a how to video.
Internal method looks to be more effective.
